Optimizely is looking for Senior Talent Development Specialist 2023 in Dhaka 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Optimize HR Talent Development Programs and Systems: You will focus on enhancing the quality and performance of HR talent development systems, such as the Learning Management System (LMS); and support employee learning, development, and performance programs such as Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Success Conversations, and Employee Engagement Surveys, and more.
  • Support and Issue Resolution: You will proactively and reactively address support issues with employees and system vendors. Additionally, you will manage high-priority escalations with urgency when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Reports and Assessments: You will design and launch reports and assessments that guide managers in making effective talent-related decisions. These tools will optimize talent development and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuous Learning: You will stay updated on the latest learning innovations to build a high-performance culture at Optimizely. Keeping up with industry advancements ensures the organization remains at the forefront of learning and development practices.
  • Problem Solving: You will tackle system-related challenges of diverse scope, utilizing analysis across factors, data, and situations.This allows you to educate stakeholders and influence the buy-in and implementation of solutions.
  • Operational Management: You will be responsible for operational management of internal learning technologies, including organizational team structure, backend functionality, catalog management (topics, tags, users), and reporting.
  • Video Assessments and Instructional Design: You will create video assessments and support instructional design and content authoring needs in the LMS. This improves the employee learning experience.
  • Technical Direction and Architecture: You will support the technical direction and architecture of internal learning technologies, such as the Employee Learning Management System. This ensures a robust and efficient learning infrastructure.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: You will act as an ambassador and bridge between internal and external learning, fostering close partnerships with Education stakeholders. Maintaining strong alignment and rapport with learning stakeholders is crucial.
  • Core Behaviors and HR Mission: You will build meaning and purpose for Optimizely employees by demonstrating the company’s core behaviors and promoting the HR mission.
  • Evaluation and Milestones: You will establish milestones and evaluation strategies to measure progress and effectiveness of digital learning projects and programs, driving improvements.
  • Vendor Management: You will co-manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality and cost-efficient internal learning solutions.
  • Global Scale Collaboration: You will collaborate globally, across time zones and locations, ensuring the learning experience reflects diverse needs and cultures.
  • Special Projects and HR Support: You may execute special projects, such as Succession Planning, expanding your learning and HR knowledge. Additionally, you may assist with HR projects outside Talent Development/Learning and Development areas as assigned.

  • LMS Instructional Design: You have hands-on experience designing instructional content and authoring courses for Learning Management Systems (LMS). This includes creating video assessments and structuring the LMS infrastructure, such as organizing teams and managing permissions.
  • Building Relationships: You have a proven track record of building trust and positive relationships internally and externally. This includes working effectively with vendors, consultants, and employees at all levels of the company, gaining buy-in and support for initiatives.
  • Project Execution: You are adept at breaking down complex projects and successfully managing them end-to-end. Your strong project management skills enable you to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Influence and Presentation Skills: You possess excellent influence and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively present ideas and information. You are comfortable speaking in front of groups, whether virtually or in person.
  • HR Systems Best Practices: Your knowledge encompasses HR systems best practices, principles, practices, and procedures. You are well-versed in industry standards and can apply them effectively.
  • MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Proficiency: You exhibit strong proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. These tools are vital for data analysis, reporting, and creating impactful presentations.
  • Strong Work Ethic and Prioritization: With a strong work ethic, you successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Your reliability ensures deadlines are met effectively.
