FHI 360 is hiring Program Manager, Community-Based MIYCN Project 2023 in Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:

  • Draft and facilitate approvals for sub-district TA activities such as orientations and trainings, learning visits with key government entities and development partners
  • Facilitate IPHN/NNS to sustainably and systematically provide copies of materials and tools required for package implementation
  • Provide technical assistance at district level to maximize the use of GOB approved MIYCN materials into the health care services, including identifying opportunities for use of the materials and troubleshooting how to use the materials
  • Liaise with partners to ensure that deliverables are completed in a timely manner and provide technical assistance and follow up to various partners involved in package implementation
  • Support organization of monthly and quarterly reviews, mid-term review at sub-district levels for the DGHS/IPHN/NNS, DGFP, development partners and other relevant stakeholders
  • Support joint field visits with DGFP, DGHS and NNS national officials to facilitate the establishment and quality of MIYCN activities at sub national level
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Upazila coordinators including approvals of monthly workplans and activity reports. Ensure timely submission of monitoring reports for synthesis by the MLE advisor and support evaluation partner in local approvals
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor

Eligibilities

  • At least 8 years working experience in i) facilitation of implementation of community level and outreach activities of government and NGOs; (ii) facilitation of training/orientation workshops for government and other partners; (iii) implementation of government programs. Working experiences with other UN/International organizations would be an added advantage
  • Excellent reading and writing skills in Bangla and English.
  • Knowledge of GoB health service delivery institutions; roles and responsibilities of DGFP, DGHS, Maternal and Child Welfare Centers and community clinics; understanding of service delivery challenges and how to scale up key interventions for improving impact on MIYCN
  • Master’s degree in public health, Social Science, Public Health Nutrition, Management, or equivalent.
