DHL is looking for Lead Operations Agent 2024 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control team performance to ensure accurate sorting and optimum loading of all inbound &outbound shipments
- Provide the timely lodgment and recovery of the shipments to satisfy the customer needs and requirements within their responsibility
- Ensure incoming shipments are recovered, “break bulked”, inspected and cleared in the timely manner
- Process material upon receive and make sure material is available for next movement connection
- Proceed receipt and lodgment of outbound shipments from country operations within airlines’ cut-off time and RFU
- Activate the standard and agreed process flow in daily operations to satisfy the customer needs and requirements
- Arrange physical inspections of shipments by authorities
- Follow the contingency plan for any emergency or the occasional customer requirement
- Coach team members in technical knowledge in each zone
- Support supervisor in manpower planning and rotation plan to ensure adequate manpower to meet daily operations
- Assist in the implementation of projects for service improvement and/or cost reduction
- Manage the receipt of data/documents to assist in the preparation of import and export declarations

3 – 5 years experience as Operations Agent
Educational Qualification
Bachelors
Additional Requirement
- Must be able to lift up to seventy (70) lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to lift forty (40) lbs. frequently
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedly
