CARE Bangladesh is hiring Capacity Building Manager – Finance, Procurement and Compliance 2023 in CARE Rangpur/Khulna/Chattogram Hub Office

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare capacity building plans.
  • Organize capacity building training, budget preparation and facilitator assignment.
  • Develop training module and facilitation skill development.
  • Closely monitor financial and procurement operations of the partner organizations and ensure that the operations comply with the donor policies.
  • Provide support to hub finance staff.
  • Facilitate capacity development of partner staff, provide on-the-job training in good financial management.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance of partners monitor, guide the hub partners.
  • Support to proper hub financial planning, budget monitoring and accuracy of the financial information that relates to project.
  • Reviewing overall financial monitoring system, ensuring program compliance in the field level.
  • Adhere to and support CARE Bangladesh’s Safety and Security policy and systems
  • As part of this role, the job holder will be expected to adhere to and support CARE Bangladesh’s Safety and Security policy and systems as part of their day to day duties, and comply, at all times, to safety & security protocols and directives, including reporting. Staff must maintain situational and self – awareness and be aware of the safety – security related consequences of their actions upon themselves, their team and the organization as a whole.

Reporting: Capacity Building Manager – Finance, Procurement, and Compliance will be directly reportable to Sr. Grants & Compliance Manager and work closely with Hub Coordinators, Implementing partners, peer colleagues, and project management unit.

Working Condition:  

The incumbent will be based in Hub office, spend significant time in the field and maintain regular communication with Spoke teams and the Project Management Unit.

Eligibilities

Job Requirements:

  • 5 to 6 years of relevant work experience, incl. capacity building and logistics management, financial management, and compliance. At least 3 years’ experience in Managerial role in relevant field
  • Masters in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or relevant discipline.
  • Committed to achieve results in a short time frame and under time pressure.
  • Sensitivity to political issues; knowledge of political and governance structures in Bangladesh is a necessity.
  • Highly communicative and transparent; excellent writing skills.
  • Proven track record in developing curricula, training and process manuals and toolkits in the field of financial management.
  • Community mobilization and community-led comprehensive development.
  • Module development.
  • Planning and organizing.
  • Good presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skill.
  • Communication, networking and negotiation.
  • Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
