BRAC is seeking Deputy Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation 2021 in Dhaka.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager and operation team to develop systematic monitoring plans, detail implementation plan (DIP), and provide feedback to the programme on implementation strategies and activities for improving efficiency and effectiveness of the programme.
- Conduct surveys, stakeholder consultations, indepth interviews, key informant interviews, FGDs, and other tools for collecting qualitative and quantitative data and disseminate monitoring findings with respective staff and other relevant stakeholders.
- Implement and establish real-time monitoring systems using ICT and provide technical assets to PO for smooth data collation by using ICT.
- Implement and participate in programme and project progress evaluation, survey and programme follow up in order to advise and recommend tools and strategies to increase programme performances and results.
- Capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on programme performance indicators, prepare monthly, quarterly project completion progress reports on UDP’s programmatic activities.
- Coordinate with field level for MIS data collection and management as well senior level.
- Identify and document case studies on significant success or failure as well as on programmatic learning and good practices.
- Write and edit content for communications materials including opeds, blog articles, press releases, event reports, website content, etc.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Eligibilities
Educational Requirements:
Masters in any discipline from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 04 years’ of experience in a national or international development organisation at an equivalent position in the field of M&E and Knowledge Management.
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge on current national and global development trends related to urban poverty and urban development, women empowerment, community organising and social mobilisation, gender, good governance, access to information and SDGs.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of M&E concepts and tools.
- Knowledge of programme/project cycle management and development.
- Skills on decision making and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Should be result-oriented, flexible and creative.
