BRAC is looking for Project Manager, Solar Rooftop Installation,Climate Change Programme 2025 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating techno-commercial specifications and in charge of all technical-related agreements during the development phase, ensuring technical governance and sustainability criteria (quality, health & safety, efficiency, environmental compliance) for the construction, operation and maintenance of the facilities
- Initiating the planning process, clearly defining the project’s scope, goals, and objectives for the project stuff and CCP team.
- Developing detailed plans, outlining tasks, resources, timelines, and deliverables for project execution.
- Regular monitoring of real time data and performance analysis of the solar projects from the central SCADA and supervisory control.
- Regular coordination with the Supervisor, other programmes and enterprises of BRAC, site engineers, contractors and IDCOL for smooth running of project activities.
- Review all the technical project reports submitted by the Contractors and submit these detailed reports on expected energy generation from performance analysis, system losses, and performance ratios to the Director and Programme Head of CCP as well as other associated BRAC entities.
- Identification of any potential risks early, analyze their possible impact, and develop mitigation strategies
- Review and take ownership of project schedules for construction and delivery.
- Ensuring the contractual and financial obligations like Performance warranty, Bank guarantee, Liquidity damage etc. are well checked and updated on time throughout the project period.
- Preparation of an Operation and Maintenance Manual for the BRAC Maintenance Department after project completion to ensure proper functionality onwards.
- Conduct training on operation, maintenance and required technical guidance for the relevant BRAC Programmes, Departments, Enterprises and other entities.
- Represent BRAC in multilateral dialogues and partnerships to strengthen its position as a private sector representative in the field of renewables.

Educational Requirements:
- Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Renewable Energy/Solar Engineering/Energy Management or any relevant subject.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 08 years of work experience in the field of Solar PV projects. Experience of managing solar rooftop projects of more than 3MW will be prioritized.
