BRAC is looking for Childcare Expert, Economic Acceleration and Resilience (EARN) project 2025 in Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics and setup of child care facilities at village training centers.
- Develop and get approval for a child-safe center model.
- Ensure facilities are safe, child-friendly, and fully equipped through regular checks.
- Recruit, train, and supervise caregivers to maintain care standards.
- Support trainee mothers by addressing their child care needs.
- Promote child safety, development, and well-being through appropriate activities.
- Organize parent meetings and developmental events for children.
- Maintain accurate facility data in the project portal.
- Provide regular updates and collaborate with sub-consultants to ensure quality.
- Implement and promote safeguarding policies across the program.
- Ensure staff are trained, supported, and follow safeguarding protocols.
- Report and encourage reporting of any safeguarding concerns.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Master’s in sociology, social work, anthropology, women’s studies, early childhood development, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in child care with NGOs or relevant agencies, including 5+ years in a supervisory role.
- Expertise in designing educational and recreational programs supporting holistic child development.
- Strong knowledge and application of child protection and safeguarding standards.
- Specialized training in early childhood development and ongoing professional development.
- Proven ability to improve caregiver training systems and promote female workforce participation.
- Experience working with NGOs, CSOs, donor agencies, and managing child care or early education programs.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; fluent in English and Bangla.
