Work Assignment Overview
- Tasks/Milestone Deliverables/Output Timeline Develop a workplan for the internship Workplan
1 week - Discover what the possibilities are after graduating a medical study. Personal Development Plan
1 week - Support the analysis of essential medicines for severe pneumonia and paediatric NCDs and make recommendations to UNICEF to bring forward to the MoHFW for the EML revision. Report
4 weeks - Understand what work should be done to review an Essential Drug List. Final report about activities

The estimated start date of the internship is the 7th of November 2022.
Administrative Details
- The selected intern will work from UNICEF Office in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
- Individuals must fund their travel and living expenses.
- Individuals must have proof of medical insurance covering their time at the duty station.
- Individuals are personally responsible for obtaining any required visa, covering the entire period of their internship. If necessary, UNICEF will support the process by providing relevant documents such as the proof of internship.
- A monthly internship stipend will be provided.
- Interns may take up to 2.5 days off days per month, including for medical reasons.

Eligibilities
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills Required
To be considered for an internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. degree programme or have graduated within the past two years in Pharmacy or Pharmacology.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Be proficient in English.
- Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
- Have no immediate relatives (e.g. father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and Have no other relatives in the line of authority that the intern will report to.
- Additional consideration will be given for any past experience.
