Global Education Parliament 2017 in Dhaka

From the very beginning human being is learning through some sort of formal and informal means. They are learning for leading a happy life. Earning livelihood was the first priority to learn. But we know to earn well we need to focus on skills.
Besides this now-a-days students are studying to obtain a certificate so that they can secure a highly paid job. Most of tertiary level students are going to attend universities to complete their honors and masters but not for broader wisdom and skills. As a result we are facing a trouble to cope up with the rest of the globe. From the very childhood till university level students are studying for long 20 to 21 years, but it’s a matter of sorrow that they don’t even capable of achieving their necessary life skills.
Bangladesh have a huge number of unemployed youths and they are seeking for jobs. They are alleging that there have no vacant sit for them. On the other hand, Job Providers are frustrated enough to deal with such inapt applicants.
Usually, students are not satisfied with their Teaching-Learning Process, Pedagogy, Teacher’s Sense of Responsibility and Syllabus as a whole with the overall Education System. The organizer are seeking for a student friendly participatory learning environment.
Education Parliament is such a platform for the students, teachers, parents, policy makers, experts, social workers, activist, civil society representatives and all other stakeholders from home and abroad to share their experience and expectation with others. Through this process stakeholders will define a way out to mitigate the ongoing crisis of education system. Students and teachers will enjoy a common platform to share; it will surely strengthen their relationship.
This year we have come up with an amazing theme “What Kind of Education Do We Want?”
Our belief is after “Global Education Parliament 2017” conference from November 16-18, 2017 they will be able to present a declaration paper and definitely design a work plan to bring the real social change.
As it is a Global event, they are going to invite some of the foreign guests and participants. Therefore they have to get ready to offer a world class environment for all. You know, they are working with the youths and it’s a voluntary platform. They think, it would be better to have some partners like different Department of Government, United Nations Agencies, Non-Government Organization (NGO), Corporate Houses, Experts and the Philanthropists. It’s a matter of utmost joy that they already have some positive responses from the potential partners.
As some of the honorable ministers are going to join, they are hoping to have a real test of policy dialogue. Different national and international media will cover the event. So they are ready to connect people who are not able to join physically.
They hope someday we will definitely be able to ensure quality education based on skills and wisdom.
