The Department of English & Modern Languages (DEML) of North South University is opening a door of opportunity for you to experience the country’s first yet the biggest and the most versatile National Language Festival entitled as ‘Language League’ at the tertiary level on the 18th and 19th October (Friday and Saturday), 2019, at North South University (NSU). This two-days long festival is going to be the largest language competition in Bangladesh. Participants will be competing at different levels and will be judged on their knowledge in English, Bangla and Chinese. The purpose of the Language League is to encourage students to learn new languages, improve their language learning process and focus on different areas of the language.
This mega event will primarily be an outreach program. We will reach out to the students of the O & A Levels of the English Medium schools, Class 9 and Class 10 of the Bengali Medium/ English Version schools, 11th and 12th grade of the Bengali Medium/ English Version colleges, and all department students from different universities in and outside Dhaka. So, join the largest language festival in the country and challenge your language skills.
