Job Responsibilities
- Focus on developing multiple trade lanes (Export & Import), creating a strong overseas client base, and collaborating with overseas colleagues daily to drive progress
- Build strong relationships with both internal and overseas teams to act as a bridge, close gaps, and move forward toward common goals.
- Conduct critical analysis of market trends and excel in pricing strategies, which are essential for business development.
- Possess firm knowledge of negotiation and pricing to support sales in winning local business and identify ways to increase the hit ratio.
- In addition to developing new clients, work closely with the existing client base to identify and generate additional business opportunities.
- Proficiency in rate management platforms and CargoWise is highly beneficial, as the ability to generate critical reports is essential for day-to-day operations.
- Develop relationships with various MLOs/NVOs to leverage the best available services.
- Maintain strong relationships with the network office and establish bilateral connections.
- Analyze reports and conduct profitability assessments regularly to prevent revenue leakage.
- Work on developing untapped sectors and align with the sales team to accelerate company growth.
- Drive project development by leveraging your network to expand DGF’s footprint and position the company as an industry pioneer.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree from a reputable university is required
- More than 3-5 years of experience preferably in Freight Forwarding
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Ocean freight processes and industry best practices
- Strong negotiation skill, interpersonal skill and problem-solving attitude
- Functional and analytical experience in Operations, Freight Management, Stakeholder Management
- High integrity with good work ethic.
