Job Responsibilities:
- Expert relationship management, from the most junior individual to the most senior, internally and externally
- Ability to think 1-2 steps ahead of what Shopify and our Partners are building, so we can innovate together on new business models and/or product integrations.
- Lead discussions across other functional teams within Shopify including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Support, Legal, and Finance to execute on various opportunities
- Be a player and have a passion for orchestration. We value individuals who roll up their sleeves and know the intimate details, and have a focus on do-what-it-takes to get something done
- Be independently minded and laser focused on your partnership growth goals

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You’re comfortable drafting documents to convey your arguments asynchronously, and able to communicate effectively from the most junior team member to the most senior executive internally and externally.
- Proven experience in collaborative product development with strategic partners
- Solid negotiating skills: understand how to drive positive-sum outcomes and navigate how much to push internally and externally toward the best outcome for merchants
- Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders
- Ability to make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Communication & storytelling: proficient in executive communication internally and externally
- Bonus if you’ve managed or signed complex product partnerships with large companies
