International Rescue Committee (IRC) is looking for Manager (Livelihood) 2025 in Ukhia.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Technical Quality
- Design and implement innovative, climate-smart livelihood recovery strategies focusing on agriculture, livestock, vocational training, and entrepreneurship.
- Develop program strategies, SoPs, and training modules (e.g., CVA, business skills, agriculture, livestock).
- Integrate climate-resilient practices and engage private sector for skill-building and job placement.
- Ensure inclusive programming for women, youth, and people with disabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., Department of Livestock) for input support and compliance.
2. Program Implementation
- Support partners in field-level implementation, supervision, and capacity building.
- Provide technical mentoring and facilitate community engagement and climate preparedness.
- Conduct trainings on agriculture, livestock, and financial literacy.
- Promote safeguarding and data protection practices in all interventions.
3. Program Quality & Compliance
- Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with IRC standards and donor requirements.
- Work with MEAL team for surveys, evaluations, and reporting.
- Develop data-driven systems to track progress across program components.
4. Partnership Management
- Monitor and support local partners in program planning, execution, and compliance.
- Build partnerships with NGOs, public/private institutions, and local stakeholders for increased program impact.
- Foster income-generation opportunities through business linkages.
5. Coordination & Representation
- Represent IRC in coordination platforms and engage with government bodies (e.g., DAE, DLS).
- Collaborate with internal IRC sectors (Protection, Health, Education) for integrated services.
- Advocate for community needs and align programming with ISCG and government guidelines.
6. Other Duties
- Monitor field team safety, report incidents, and ensure security protocols.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support IRC’s mission.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
1. Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Agricultural Science, Business management, Development studies, or Social Science along with professional background in livelihood development field.
2. Experiences:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in providing technical support and management of livelihoods programming with national and or international organizations particularly in the field of Cash and Voucher Program (CVA), climate-smart agriculture, Livestock program, market relevant vocational skill development, youth employment, and market system development in a development context.
- Proven experience in developing women economic Empowerment and youth employment programming in the host community and Rohingya Refugee camp.
- Experience in Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA), Cash for Work, support to small business owners, livestock farmers, and working in complex humanitarian settings.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience conducting market scoping, gap analyses and partner mapping for cash and livelihoods programming supporting women’s economic self-resilience within natural disaster settings.
- Sound understanding of the local context and the livelihoods needs of vulnerable populations especially the host community and other sub-district of CXB.
- Experience in dealing with government officials, private sectors, donor agencies, and other NGOs
- Demonstrated experience in working with a multi-cultural team (national and international).
- Experience in partner dealings and management for program implementation
