Job Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer,
- Work closely with product development team to improve performance and reliability of new development
- Maintain Core VAS service platforms to meet targeted operational KPI. Review, preparing and completing action plans for service quality and customer-service standards, resolving problems, assist in completing audits, determining system risk and improvements scope, implementing changes and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Arrange support for projects to ensure proper acceptance test, implement changes in live systems and facilitate changes in other related domains.
- Assist & guide Regular and emergency trouble shooting and identify/resolve problems proactively
- Ensures system uptime, utilizing maximum system capacity, temporary license upgrade and identification and rectification of revenue leakage issues proactively.
- Handle and solve customer complaints, Network Trouble Tickets of related platforms.
- Monitor the system performance & Capacity utilization and facilitate additional capacity requirement.
- Periodic meeting with the vendors to resolve the on-going issues.
- Check and implement security policy in the live systems with the assistance of Network Security and Audit team, follow up with related stakeholders to remove project snags. Manage checking and enforcing network and system security policies and guidelines from ESG
- Follow up & close the operational issues and other related activities assigned by supervisor.
- Work as team member of cross functional team for new project for the revenue growth of Robi.
- Develop and architect tools for more productive development and also to improve product availability, scalability, and performance & monitoring. Automate scripts to purge logs to maintain system health check on regular interval & generate system KPI report periodically and integrate with monitoring system to generate fault cases (SW & HW) notification to act and solve problem proactively.
- Design and implement innovations that improve software engineering velocity, infrastructure resiliency, security, and data availability
- Evaluates new application packages and tools and performs research on best practices
- Provides recommendations for the solutions & apply security best practices on regular interval to meet Security compliances.

Eligibilities
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
Academic Qualification:
- B.Sc./MSC in Information
- Technology/Telecommunications/Computer Science/Engineering from any reputed university.
Skills required:
- At least up to 1 to 3 years working experience record working in a fast moving and fluid environment..
- Curiosity about how things work
- Obsession about automating everything and a passion for elegance and simplicity
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
- Ability to jump into situations with few guardrails and make things better
- Ability and desire to jump in and fix things when they break
- Extended experience with AWS, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins and CI/CD best practices
- Experience with container infrastructures – Docker, Kubernetes ; MongoDB database administration and configuration management will be added advantages.
- A love of learning and developing new skills and adopt with new technologies.
- Excellent understanding of Operating Systems concepts (especially Linux OS) & Shell Scripting.
- Basic Knowledge on Databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Mongo DB, Redis.
- Basic Knowledge on Webserver like Apache Tomcat ,Nginx, Kafka, NodeJS
- Must have Self-Motivation & Proactive analytical attitude
