The 4th Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) 2020 is going to be held on next 11th & 12th September 2020. This year, bdSIG will provide support to the 50 selected fellows. For your information, bdSIG will not provide any expenses for travel or accommodation in this regard.
Prominent experts in the tech industry and from the Internet Governance community will address the participants in this program. The community of Multi stakeholders from the Government Sector, Civil Society, Private Sector, Technical Community, Academia, Youth and Media members can participate for being the schoolfellow. Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) will host the 4th bdSIG 2020 for two days and will award certificates to all successful participants
Just for your kind information, as per their budget requirement, Bangladesh School of Internet Governance have to spend about TK 20000 for each participant this year. This will afford the cost of inviting the various industry experts, foods, gift items, certificates and sundries. But they will accommodate the rest of the costs from donations’ and sponsorships for this event. Your contribution will be used to arrange further IG Schools at various divisions and localities in Bangladesh.

Fellowship applicants will be selected by the Selection Committee based on different criteria such as background, experience and contributions and keeping in mind parameters such as geographical and gender balance and diversity.

Eligibilities
Any individual from Bangladesh, from any stakeholder community (Government Sector, Civil Society, Private Sector, Technical Community, Academia, Youth and Media), who has an interest in Internet Governance, and has in the past contributed or wishes to contribute to IG processes, may apply for this program as a Bangladesh Fellow.

In this year they are going to offer a fellowship for 50 persons. This regard, they set a registration fee of Tk. 500 for each person.
If you are selected primarily then you have to make the payment for attendance to this program by completing another registration form, which will be provided to your given email address.
They will send you a bKash number in your email address. After completing the transaction please you will have to inform the transaction number made by bKash to them.
In that case you have to mention your bKash transaction number (the confirmation number you have obtained after the completion of bKash transaction for this enrollment) along with your name and your personal mobile number to us over phone call.
Besides, please send email to them from your email address along with these pieces of information for further record and convenience.
