Visionspring is looking for Asst. Lead, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) 2025 in Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
Operationalize MERL Strategy:
- Support the implementation of impact studies and research collaborations to strengthen program quality and build the evidence base.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to regularly assess and improve data flow systems and processes.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Salesforce, Excel, and other tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Design and deploy customer data collection tools (paper or digital), and analyze results to generate actionable insights.
Foster a Culture of Learning and Improvement:
- Partner with program and operations teams to build capacity and translate monitoring and qualitative data into clear, actionable insights (e.g., case studies, visuals).
- Work with the Lead, MERL, to distill and communicate learnings that inform internal strategies and external positioning.
- Contribute to program reviews, evaluations, and research by validating and cleaning CRM data.
- Continuously build skills to enhance the quality and impact of MERL outputs.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- An advanced degree in Public Health/Applied Mathematics/Biostatistics. A course in Data Analytics and a thorough understanding of statistical analysis in a public health setting is preferred.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in monitoring & evaluation.
- Advanced Excel is a must (e.g., highly proficient using pivot tables and Power Query).
- The ability to use computational statistical software tools, such as SPSS (syntax), R, SAS programming language, and/or have other experience in programming.
- Experience in producing reports from a CRM database (preferably Salesforce).
- Strong understanding of data quality, ability to turn vague report requests into tightly defined report requirements, and experience in making measurable improvements in the data quality.
- Attention to detail in checking analytical outputs for errors.
- Expertise in project management through practical project planning, foreseeing challenges, raising them on time, and working collaboratively on mitigating them.
- Strong communication skills in articulating complex numbers in straightforward language to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in oversight of rigorous evaluations and research projects.
