Job Responsibilities:
- Information, assessment and reports about the security situationAssist in preparing UN Security Policy
- documentations and their implementation
- Support to UN Agencies
- Assist in conducting security training for United Nations personnel
- To implement Saving Lives Together (SLT) framework
The Department of Safety and Security is a department of the United Nations providing safety and security services for United Nations agencies and departments as part of the United Nations Safety Management System. UNDSS reports directly to the Secretary-General.

Eligibilities
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in security, military or police or related field of work.
• Previous work experience in the UN is an asset.
• Formal training in Security Risk Management is an asset.
• Knowledge of VHF radio operation;
• Knowledge of host country safety codes;
• Solid computers skills (MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint);
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel
• Physically fit
Language Requirements:
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Bangla is required.
• Knowledge and familiarity in native Rohingya language is as asset.
