Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust data pipelines using Apache Kafka for real-time and batch data processing
- Manage and optimize data flow across distributed systems, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot systems running on Solaris OS
- Work closely with software engineers, analysts, and DevOps to ensure smooth integration of data systems
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the entire infrastructure
- Develop tools and automation for monitoring, testing, and maintaining data systems
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data architecture

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a professional data engineering role
- Proven expertise in Apache Kafka: producers, consumers, stream processing, Kafka Connect
- Hands-on experience working in Solaris environments
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and real-time data flow
- Experience with shell scripting and system-level troubleshooting
- Proficient in tools like Git, SQL, and data pipeline frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in an on-site environment
