DHL is looking for Executive, Customs Clearance in Dhaka 2025
Job Responsibilities:
- Support administration of customs and trade compliance plans and processes to facilitate the timely, secure and cost-effective import, export and shipment of materials, equipment, products, packages, and documents across international borders;
- Implement customs brokerage activities such as preparing and maintaining shipping records, preparing bills of lading and various perform computations including duties, tariffs, price conversions, weights and volumes
- Provide customs related import/ export services to TBO and NTBO transports and Conduct classification of goods based on information provided by the customers;
- Review shipped items, shipping validity dates and debits and duties/ tariffs at government institutions;
- Identify, obtain and collate documents required for obtaining permits, licenses, and certificates for customs clearance;
- Perform daily shipment documentation work, customs declarations and other required documents including post clearance modifications according to regulations and internal procedures;
- Perform booking and booking optimization according to internal guidelines as defined by product team and raise bills, examine invoices and shipping documents to ensure compliance
- Advice customers on legal (e.g. trade compliance – shipments to sanctioned countries) and customs topics;
- Attend Customs House on a regular basis (on-demand /off-demand)

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from any reputed university;
- Relevant experience of 01 year in the Freight Forwarding industry or relevant industry;
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skill;
- Empowered, pro-active thinker, reliable and team player;
- Strong negotiation skill, interpersonal skill and problem solving attitude;
- High integrity with good work ethics.
