BRAC is looking for Senior Programme Manager, Resource Mobilisation; Global Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships in Dhaka

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the programme/ proposal development process for BRAC, in consultation with technical experts and senior leaders/ management.
  • Monitor and evaluate proposal writing trends and identify areas of collaboration and drive partnership opportunities, in consultation with the programme team and senior leaders.
  • Contribute to the identification, design, formulation, and negotiation of new opportunities and draft concept notes and project document briefs for discussion with partners.
  • Build a network of key partners, keeping abreast of evolving trends (social, economic, and political), including the application of innovation to project and partnership development.
  • Run and facilitate proposal design workshops and capacitate programmes on this.
  • Engage with programme team, during programme design, to develop deep understanding of theory of change, programme objectives and activities, to aid in proposal development.
  • Continuously support by overseeing the proposals in its drafting phase by writing sections, inputting into the draft content, support programmes to write the best language for donors.
  • Contribute to the dissemination and sharing of best practices and lessons learned for planning and knowledge building within project and partnership development for the organisation.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Eligibilities

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s in Development Studies/ International Business/ Economics/ Business Administration/ International Relations/ Geopolitics/ Law/ Public Policy/ Administration or equivalent with a demonstrable commitment to poverty reduction and social justice issues from any recognised university/ institution.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 06 years’ of experience working in a number of different functions such as Programme Management/ Resource Mobilisation/ Fundraising/ Grant Writing etc.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of log frame and M&E framework development; strong quantitative skills.
  • Sound knowledge of BRAC, its history, its programmes and culture.
  • Comfortable working across a number of sectors, developing new domain knowledge.
  • Strong internal and external relationship management skills.
  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written in English and Bangla.
  • Ability to learn new technologies easily (e.g. slack, google drive, trello, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and should be resourceful in finding opportunities.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically with an interest in organisational development.
  • Ability to work across cultures, with external stakeholders, international colleagues, etc.
