BRAC is hiring Senior Manager, Digital Cluster; Microfinance Programme 2022 in Dhaka.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the team to manage and implement projects successfully on time and by using digital solutions effectively and efficiently
  • Assist in developing a digital working culture by shaping the skills, processes, people and tools we use to deliver the programme objectives
  • Strong communication and maintain partnership other units, other BRAC programmes, Fintechs and relevant stakeholders to design and implement digital products and services
  • Conceptualise projects through research to try out new digital interventions within the program that includes project design, budgeting, risk mapping and project evaluation metrics
  • Manage effectively and mentor the team to drive initiatives, performance, teamwork and map out skills of each team member to prepare their development plan
  • Ensure regular follow up of the project operations and effective monitoring of the projects to drive execution smoothly
  • Analyse existing processes and activities to develop and drive alternative digital interventions for smooth and efficient operations
  • Keep updated on the regular basis about the new digital interventions/technologies happening in local and international markets that can be replicated for BRAC Microfinance to enhance operational efficiency or client service

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

JOB PURPOSE

Assist in transforming the Microfinance programme from analogue to digital systems by innovating and implementing cost-effective digital solutions for staff and clients, creating usable data, putting together agile processes and establishing an effective eco-system that will support microfinance clients to adapt better to the changing digital landscape of the financial sector.

  • Excellent computer skills with all Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Hands on experience on Microfinance operation and industries
  • Effective communication, proactive, interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking, good leadership, product development and management, problem solving, analsing data, agility

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Masters in any discipline from any recognised university/ institution

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience is required
