BRAC is hiring Assistant Engineer, Electrical, Construction 2022 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical drawing, design, BOQ for all projects.
- Discussing the objectives, requirements & budget of a proposed project and consulting with other professionals about design
- Analyzing requirements of the basic electrical features of a building or other structure.
- Correspondence, meeting with different utility services agency/vendor for load approval and other action.
- Place requisition for various project and ensure best quality product in time for smooth progress work
- Load calculation for sub-station, Generator, A/C.
- Supervision of installation, testing, commissioning of various capacity of electromechanical items.
- Supervision, Installation, testing commission of Gas connection.
- Correspondence, meeting with different utility services agency/vendor for load approval and other action.
- Prepare technical specification for electromechanical items.
- Ensure all electrical activities are conducted under controlled as per drawing design, work plan at site.
- To ensure proper implementation of maintenance work.
- To ensure field implementation according to drawing through field visit. Give immediate decision to engineers. In case of complicated situation decision is given in consultation with supervisor.
- Assist procurement department to purchase best quality product following specification for all electromechanical item.
- Inspecting properties to check conditions of different electrical-mechanical components like substation, lift ,AC, MDB,DB, Circuit breaker, internal wiring, etc. and examining electrical works at risk of firing & over load and advising how to improve their electrical integrity, such as recommending removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding the entire electro-mechanical works.
- Initiated and checked budget for major work, check tender documents, correspondence, and meeting with different utility service.
