BRAC-Aarong is hiring Assistant Manager, Procurement 2022 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure procurement of required goods/production materials (Fabrics, Trims and Accessories) with expected standard quality at the right price within the lead time
- Develop new sources/ vendors of production materials (Fabrics, Trims and Accessories) to minimize procurement risk and generate competition
- Dive into the critical item sourcing with procurement workflow to bear and maintain lead time
- Verify all purchase bills and ensure on-time payment to the vendors by following the right approval process
- Remain updated with the pending works, coordinate with designers for quick resolution and drive accordingly
- Prepare regular reports on various requisition settlements, keep transparency on information & workflow
- Maintain one-to-one feedback with group members on regular work to reduce setbacks & point out learning from previous experiences

Eligibilities
- Knowledge of production materials such as Fabrics, Trims, Chemical items, etc.
- Understanding of vendor sourcing & development
- Understanding of Local & international procurement process
- Experience in modern supply chain management and relevant software
- Minimum 1-year experience in a leadership role of team supervising is preferred
- Effective communication, interpersonal skills, analytical ability, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Should have strategic thinking, negotiation skills, stress management, and team building
Educational:
- A Bachelor Degree from any reputed university
- A professional degree in Supply Chain/ Procurement is preferred
Experience:
- 5 years of relevant work experience in Procurement/ Commercial/ Supply chain Management
