Berger is looking for Assistant Manager Production – WB 2025 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- To execute daily production activities in alignment with the scheduled production plan.
- To ensure timely execution of CAPEX projects while adhering to all HSE guidelines.
- To optimize workforce and equipment utilization, enhancing productivity and reducing operational costs, downtime, and idle time.
- To evaluate constraints related to manpower, equipment, and time to achieve optimal factory productivity.
- To review raw materials, labor, and overhead costs, and recommend strategies to reduce production expenses—serving as a liaison between the costing team and factory operations.
- To work closely with the Maintenance Department and implement preventive and corrective actions, minimizing equipment downtime and repair costs.
- To identify and implement continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives and enhance key performance indicators such as: Productivity, PUC, Yield, RFT etc.
- To promote and enforce workplace safety protocols, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a well-recognized university.
- At least 6-8 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001 standards will be an added advantage.
