BAT is looking for Expression of Interest: Leaf Officer 2025 in Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead regional reporting and execute strategic projects aligned with area Leaf Operations plans.
- Achieve extension, volume, and quality targets through effective implementation of operational plans.
- Manage farmer registration, and ensure timely distribution of crop inputs and support programs.
- Strengthen field technician capabilities through continuous training and knowledge updates.
- Drive best agronomic practices (IPM, mechanization, hybrid seeds, soil fertility, etc.) to improve leaf quality and farmer productivity.
- Foster strong farmer partnerships via phased technical training and extension services.
- Execute tactical leaf buying strategies ensuring compliance with BOS, local laws, ESG, and quality standards.
- Roll out ESG initiatives including living income support, afforestation, gender empowerment, sustainable sourcing, and child labor elimination.
- Gather industry insights to shape strategy and advance digital tools in agricultural practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce EH&S policies and internal compliance standards.

Job Requirements:
- A sound educational background with minimum bachelor’s degree in. agriculture/ agronomy/ soil fertility/ environmental management or any related field.
- Fresh graduates with prior ECA experience are highly encouraged to apply.
- Ability to be empowered, work independently, and focus on results.
- A proven record to build close working relationships with a diverse range of people.
- Excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
