- Responsible for documenting and demonstrating solutions by leading technical conversations/communications, preparing documentations, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts etc., collaborating with various stakeholders from engineering, product and design.
- Ensure that new systems meet functional requirements whilst also ensure that service qualities (performance, scalability, extensibility etc.), for now and for the future, are achievable.
- Continuously research, enhance, discuss and update software solution architecture.
- “Lead by example” to ensure high quality code and software documentation standard is met by mentoring and collaborating with technical resources.
- Stay involved/hands on during the planning and development process to modify the architecture to make adjustments for various outside forces; communicate and articulate the architectural vision in terms that each person can comprehend by collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Use business process knowledge and technical knowledge and maintain strategic view of where the business are going and how technology will be used to attain that vision.
- Become the main “gate” between developed code and production release, ensuring quality and robustness of developed code.
- Shares knowledge and educate/influence technical resources on a regular basis.

Job Requirements:

- 10+ years of combined experience in software development.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience working with US based clients/customers/stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience in a leading technical role, preferably software architect.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong communication with both technical and business teams in English.
- Strong technical solutions design experience and technical knowledge, analytical and ‘joined-up’ thinking, conflict resolution.
- Deep understanding of SOA and SaaS architecture.
- Experience in architecting cloud based web service/microservices backend infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Prior experience of designing and implementing databases for web-services with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Hands on experience in both front-end, back-end web and database technologies. Front-end: Javascript, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Angular, React, SASS. Back-end: Java, SpringBoot, Hibernate, JPA, Maven, Jenkins, APIs and API gateway. Databases and data services: MySQL, PostgreSQL, S3, AWS Kinesis, AWS RDS.
- Solid understanding of secured web development and software architecture, security vulnerabilities (OWASP) and secured software development lifecycle.
