Ada is hiring Director Business Development 2022 in Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in terms of new clients as well as new markets.
  • Build relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendors.
  • Evaluate existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn’t.
  • Manage key client relationships in senior level and works to build new ones.
  • Expand the profile and reach of the company and its brands.
  • Lead sales, marketing, customer-service, and client relationship management teams.
  • Keep track of overall P&L of the business
  • Develop and strengthen internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.
  • Build cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth.
  • Track emerging markets and trends.
  • Foster and work to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.
  • Identify and recommend new services.
  • Propose and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Help to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
  • Provide advice on product development and distribution and promotion strategies.
  • Identifies sponsorship opportunities, including non-profit engagement.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with service partners as well as vendors.
  • Represent the company by conducting seminars/ webinars and presentations to raise the brand or product profile.
  • Fulfill requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and customers.
  • Help direct development of customer-facing web platforms and digital experiences.
  • Take the lead in our overall service and strategy and daily operations of the Agency; people, morale, culture, processes, client
  • Manage and establish trusting, long term client relationships
  • Watch expenses and constantly look for new revenue
  • Keep employees focused and motivated, including responsible for hiring, firing and talent development.

Eligibilities

  • You have 10+ years of experience in a business development, strategy or account management role
  • You have experience in the digital marketing industry, in a communication/PR agency or a software company
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic and open communication culture
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification
  • You are self-motivated, try things out on your own and simply get things done
  • You have strong negotiation skill to be in a win-win with the CXO level of clients
  • You are able to keep the team motivated in a very dynamic way even in challenging situations
