Summer Intern – Data Scientist
Job Descriptions:

Implement data analytics that can provide meaningful insights that can help the company make data-driven decisions;

Develop sophisticated statistical models for data analysis;
-
Research innovative health data analytics being adopted globally and incorporate some of these analytics at Praava Health;
-
Communicate data findings in a presentable format to all stakeholders;
-
Extract and present data as per management and client requests;
-
Generate routine reports for all stakeholders;
-
Create data dictionary for the data dump being downloaded from the system;
-
Set up data processes when new data needs to be captured and reported.
This is an opportunity to help shape a new model of care in Bangladesh, together with the Praava family, including doctors, nurses, health coaches, laboratory and diagnostic staff, and senior leadership.
Travel expenses and accommodation will be provided by Praava Health.

Eligibilities
- The Data Scientist Intern is a student enrolled in undergraduate or graduate school with a passion for global health and efficient delivery of health care;

Strong analytical skills and experience dealing with large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data;

Proficiency with data mining and statistical analysis;

Knowledge of Excel, programming languages (e.g. SQL, Oracle, Java / Python, SAS);

Experience collecting and analyzing data in healthcare settings is a plus;
-
Understanding of value based healthcare concepts is especially attractive;
