Job Responsibilities:
- Focus on search functionality and optimization of multi-tenant Elasticsearch/OpenSearch clusters in a high-volume production environment.
- Perform cluster administration tasks including deployment, configuration, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify issues, including search-specific metrics.
- Implement and maintain security best practices to ensure data protection within a multi-tenant environment.
- Collaborate with development teams to provide support and guidance on Elasticsearch/OpenSearch usage, including search query design and optimization.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years’ experience of developing and managing services in production
- Experience managing Elasticsearch / OpenSearch in production, with optimization of settings, shards, and replicas.
- Experience creating optimized Elasticsearch / OpenSearch queries
- Experience developing with TypeScript
- Expertise with API design and development of GraphQL or RESTful web services
- Experience partnering closely with internal stakeholders, to gain a strong understanding of business and product data needs
- You find satisfaction in being a force multiplier for your colleagues
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering or related experience required
