BRAC-Aarong is looking for Senior Officer, Communications & Public Relations 2024 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing PR events, including media engagements and influencer collaborations, to increase brand visibility.
- Help maintain an annual calendar of in-store experiences, including exhibitions and pop-up events at flagship stores.
- Coordinate with external partners such as NGOs and craft organizations to further Aarong’s reach and mission.
- Collaborate with PR agencies to ensure consistent messaging across different markets.
- Assist in conceptualizing and executing experiential pop-up events that offer customers immersive brand experiences.
- Coordinate with design, artisan, and marketing teams to bring these concepts to life.
- Support market-specific PR agency relationships to ensure localized and effective communication strategies.
- Monitor and report on PR campaign performance for future adjustments.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.

Eligibilities
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field from any reputed university.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Branding and Brand Management.
- Event Management.
- Project Management.
- Fluency in English & Bangla communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
