Banglalink is hiring Head of Enterprise Connectivity 2023 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead study of latest technology trends & service evolutions and design
- Plan and operate the network to support the digital service delivery plans internally and externally as per business objectives set by leadership team
- Plan and design DC architecture that is focused and aligned to the business and user needs and manage the continued succession-planning, career and skills development of the Technology team members.
- Forecast and submit budget proposals, and effectively recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary, Lead and guide the team with preparing of business plan and budgeting for a state-of-the-art network in cost efficient manner
- Drive Significant OPEX reduction initiatives in IT, DC, LAN Network infrastructure
- Lead technical readiness to prepare Networking project related documents using Project Management methodology (i.e. RFQ, Evaluation, Project Management document, Business Case etc.)
- Manage Vendor with proper communication and following predefined timeline.
- Set governance for support, SLA for operation activity, 24/7 feedback and response as per received ticket and fault notification.
- Support IT network Modernization & BAC audit closure initiatives.
- Plan the ordering and executions through effective project management in sync and collaboration with commercial/IT plans
- Oversee and govern the enterprise network services and security management solutions (e.g. DC, firewalls, WAF, VPN, access management, log management, etc.) in coordination with stakeholders
- Supervise the team for conducting of security assessments and to prepare and submit a monthly, quarterly, annual security audit report, firewall access list audit with risk assessment and risk mitigation in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure a multifaceted team is equipped with the requisite knowledge, training, performance management etc.

Eligibilities
- BSC Engineering in Electrical & Electronics or Telecommunication
- 10-12 years of relevant experience with 5-6 years at a managerial role
- Basic Knowledge of GSM Technology & Architecture
- Basic Knowledge of Transmission Design and Dimension
- Sound knowledge of Information Security and IT Audit processes
- Essential knowledge on:-Cisco wireless routers and switching
-Networking
-Network Planning, designing
-IP Network Basics
-Wireless Communication
-Security services ACL, IPS, NG-SIEM, EDR,
-Cisco security product ASA, NG-IPS/IDS, FTD-Firepower Threat Defense f5 WAF etc. - Hands on knowledge of Data Center Passive & Active networking especially on Cisco Platform
