CARE Bangladesh is looking for Women Friendly Space Facilitator 2021 in Gazipur
It is a continuation of the ongoing project “Future of Work for female garment workers in Bangladesh: Action for resilient and secured pathways”. The current phase will provide the foundation for the forthcoming scenario planning for upcoming phase of collective impact initiative. The previous intervention was served a greater number of RMG women workers, children, men and women, supporting them to absorb and recover from the shocks and loses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The overall goal of the project is to increase resilience of female workers to respond to changing contexts within the workplace and communities.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
1: Implementation of Women Friendly Space (WFS) based Activities
- Contributes and assist of quality, timely and effective implementation of WFS based activities involving community and RMG women workers.
- Conducting / Facilitate 5core session, life skills, educational, and recreational activities for women and girls in the WFS
- Ensure that WFS activities are conducted in agreement with the WFS rules, guidelines and are culturally appropriate.
- Provide WFS Attendees with information on the available services at the WFS.
- Ensure that the WFS is kept in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ensure / maintain external or internal visit on WFS by maintaining the WFS rules and guidelines.
2: Reporting and documentation
- Maintain WFS participants Registration and maintain different register/ format as needed for real time monitoring and collection.
- Track and report on attendance of the different WFS activities
- Track and report on supply utilization at the WFS
- Develops work plans and reports of activities
- Provides weekly, monthly and periodic project reports to the Project officer
- Identify different issue and prepared report/ Cases study.
3: Coordination and Other Activities
- Develop network & liaison with other local service provider at community level.
- Make strong rapport with local stakeholders and local government members.
- Perform any other duties as and when required.
4: Security
- As part of this role, the job holder will be expected to adhere to and support CARE Bangladesh’s Safety and Security policy and systems as part of their day to day duties, and comply, at all times, to safety & security protocols and directives, including reporting. Staff must maintain situational and self – awareness and be aware of the safety – security related consequences of their actions upon themselves, their team and the organization as a whole.

Qualifications:
Education/ Experience/ skill:
- At least 2 years relevant experience with bachelor degree in social science and other relevant discipline. Candidate have HSC with above 5 years relevant experience also eligible for apply.

- Prior experience of taking sessions
- Good Communication and negotiation Skills
- Knowledge of the community
- Experience of community mobilization
- Experience of RMG sector
- Accomplish individual and collective assignments given by her supervisor.
- Have good understanding of women issues and community sensitive issues.
- Undertake other duties that may be determined by her supervisor.
- Emotional maturity and stability to resolve conflicts in non-violent way and maintain appropriate boundaries.
- Good interpersonal skills including ability to gain trust and build relationships.
- Be able to work in a stressful setting and adapt quickly to changing environments
- Be able to data collect, store & share by electronic device.
