Responsibilities:

• Execute Risk Assessment and Method of Statement.
• Lead the Incident Management.
• Exercise excellence in health, safety and environmental sustainability across the Factory.
• Execute and implement HS&E strategy through application of the H&S Management System and BPBL Environmental Management System.
• Execute a compelling understanding of the organization’s HS&E values and inspire stakeholders to excel accordingly & improve continuously.
• Promote a behavioural approach to HS&E based on the Berger Values (Respect-Integrity-Commitment-Excellence).
• Identify HS&E priorities, current & future challenges, and opportunities for change at Factory.
• Train and coach the team leaders which will help them to take ownership, lead & manage HS&E within their areas of responsibilities.
• Develop liaison & coordinate with experts and professionals within HS&E network in order to develop their functional and leadership competencies to provide robust succession plans for key HS&E positions.
• To ensure that all the teams receive trusted guidance & support on relevant HS&E matters, along the value chain.
• Incorporate internal & external resources which will ensure the delivery of efficient HS&E support.
• Leverage HSE-Performance Measures and other tools for effective decision making and monitor/analyse performance. Communicate the areas to be developed with the performers.
• Recognise and encourage learners, strong performers, contributors and promote learning culture.
