EMK Center presents webinar on Astronomical Wonders 2021.

It’ll be a virtual session. Registration going on! Dr Dipen Bhattacharya will answer your astronomy questions. Please bring your inquiry about planets, stars, black holes and neutron stars, galaxies, and the universe!
Dr Dipen Bhattacharya was raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he earned his high school degree. He received his undergraduate degree in physics from Moscow State University, Russia. He continued his studies in the United States, where he earned a PhD. In Gamma-Ray Astrophysics from the University of New Hampshire. He became a researcher at the NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland in 1990. In 1993, he joined the High Energy Astrophysics Group at the University of California, Riverside, as a research associate. During his years in research, he flew high altitude research balloons with telescopes to look for gamma rays from cosmic objects.
As a US State Department Fulbright Fellow he taught physics at BRAC University, Dhaka during 2007-2007. Currently, he is a professor of physics at Moreno Valley College in California. Dr Dipen has published numerous scientific papers in refereed journals, and his work has been used by NASA astrophysicists to model cosmic rays in our galaxy. He is also an accomplished fiction writer in his native tongue, Bengali. To date, he has published six fiction and non-fiction books.
