Trinity College Dublin has launched 40 fully funded Ph.D. scholarships this year across a wide variety of disciplines. These scholarships are generously funded through alumni donations and Trinity’s Commercial Revenue Unit. The School of Histories and Humanities is offering three Provost’s Ph.D. Project Scholarships in the following areas:

  • China, Ireland and Empire
  • Poverty and Welfare in post-war Ireland
  • Integration: An Intellectual History (20th-century US History)

The successful applicants will produce an independent piece of research in the form of a Ph.D. thesis. Students with a Provost’s Scholarship may also be asked to work up to 24 hours per month on the project.
