A comprehensive post-graduate academic institute called the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) was founded in 2005 at the initiative of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana. The mission of CGI is to apply the most innovative interactive teaching methods now being employed in top research and educational institutions to build leaders and thinkers who can better meet the needs of their nations’ sustainable development. Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, and Chemical Sciences Master’s degree programs are currently available through the CGI. The CGI is offering 15 (fifteen) scholarships this year to overseas students (excluding Thai citizens) who wish to pursue a Master’s degree. Merit-based criteria will be used to choose applicants.

The CGI Scholarship 2023 is a fully-funded scholarship program offered by the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) in Thailand. The scholarship is open to international students from all over the world who are interested in pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Biosciences, Environmental Toxicology, or Chemical Sciences.

The CGI Scholarship covers the following costs:

  • Tuition fees
  • Living expenses
  • Round-trip airfare
  • Visa fees
  • First settlement allowance
  • Relocation allowance
  • Accommodation
  • Monthly stipend
  • Book allowance
  • Health insurance

The scholarship is awarded for a period of two years. The CGI Scholarship 2023 is a prestigious scholarship that offers a unique opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in Applied Biosciences, Environmental Toxicology, or Chemical Sciences at a leading Thai university. Eligibilities

  • Under 30 years of age.
  • Hold a Bachelor Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 in one of the following fields:
    • Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences
    • Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology
    • Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences. Applicants from other related fields are also welcome to apply.
  • Have experience in scientific laboratory research
  • Must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one of two recognized tests of language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)
  • Must provide a statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study
