Stem Scholarships 2021 for Southeast Asia at RMIT University, Australia

This scholarship is open for commencing international students from the Southeast Asia region undertaking a select degree at RMIT STEM College, providing financial assistance towards the first year of study. RMIT offers a range of scholarships to commencing international students across all fields of study. Scholarships can help with all kinds of study costs such as textbooks, fees, accommodation and living expenses. While many of the scholarships consider academic achievement, there are also scholarships awarded based on what you are studying, where you are from or your personal circumstances.RMIT makes research scholarships available to research candidates through competitive scholarship rounds. Scholarships are awarded to successful applicants through a merit-based process that considers academic achievement and relevant research related experience that includes the publication of research outputs.

Number of scholarships available

Five (5) scholarships are available for Semester 2 2021.

Benefits

The total value of the scholarship is AU$10,000, a one-off payment to be paid after the first census date.

Eligibilities

To apply for these scholarships,you must:

  • be a citizen of Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos or Brunei
  • apply from Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos or Brunei
  • achieve an overall 70% average or equivalent in your last completed qualification
  • not be an existing RMIT student
  • enrol for Semester 2 2021 in an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or masters by coursework offered by one of the following RMIT School:
    • Engineering
    • Health and Biomedical Sciences
    • Science
    • Computing Technologies
  • applicants with a conditional offer need to meet the conditions of their offer
  • applicants must submit an application for this scholarship.
Eligible Regions: Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei

Before you apply:

  • Find an appropriate course.
  • Check the entry requirements.
  • Collect required documents.
  • This Scholarship is available for non-existing RMIT students.
  • Applicants with a conditional offer will need to meet the conditions of their offer before they can be awarded the scholarship.
  • This scholarship is only available for programs offered by the College of Science Engineering and Health.
  • Scholarship selection is based on academic merit and personal statement.
  • Applications for scholarship rounds must be submitted by the advertised deadlines.
  • When you apply for a scholarship you will automatically be considered for all available scholarships within the round.
