The Translation Division (TRA) within the Conference Security and Infrastructure Service (CSI) of the Executive Directorate (EXD) provides translations into official (French and English) and non-official languages for OECD documents and publications and other language-related activities, such as terminology. This i s a temporary assignment.
They are looking for a Translation Project Officer to undertake a wide range of administrative tasks for the TRA Secretariat and act as the main contact point for external translations. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal Translation Project Assistant.

Monthly base salary starting from 2,700€ depending on the experience of the selected candidate.
Eligibilities
Academic Background
- Good level of post-secondary education.
Professional Background
- 3-5 years experience as a project assistant.
- An experience in translations workflow management, preferably in a translation agency, would be an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of the Organisation’s administrative rules and procedures, as well as the overall structure of the Organisation and scope of its activities would be an advantage.
- Proven experience in working with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with OECD systems (SRP, SRM) or similar translation workflow and procurement systems, or an ability to acquire rapid proficiency in the standard range of tools used in the Organisation.
- Back-end experience in translation workflow tools would be an advantage.
- Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and a good knowledge of the other.
- Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
