The Fellowships offer researchers opportunities to engage with sectors beyond academia, including creative and cultural industries, public, private, and policy sectors. By embedding researchers in institutions like the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) in Berlin, the program supports knowledge mobilization and translation, individual skill development, and the creation of innovative solutions to complex policy challenges.

This collaboration enables researchers to develop new approaches to pressing foreign policy concerns and contributes to addressing global instability with practical, action-oriented research.
