Walailak University is hosting their 3rd cultural camp held in Nakhon Si Thammarat and Bangkok, Thailand. This year’s theme is Cultures without Borders. WUCC2019 aims to promote a global youth’s network and cross-cultural friendship among 200 participants. Throughout the 8-day program (24th June – 1st July 2019), the campers will have an opportunity to
- EXPLORE Nakhon Si Thammarat, the historical city in southern Thailand, and Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand,
- EXCHANGE cultures,
- ENGAGE in various activities and
- ENJOY every moment together.

This year 200 participants will be selected for the program (120 Non-Thais and 80 Thais). The university supports the expenses, such as accommodation, food, local transportation and etc. while the campers will only be responsible for:
- Round-trip international air-ticket to Thailand
- One-way air-ticket from Bangkok, Donmueang international airport, to Nakhon Si Thammarat airport on 24th June 2019
- Accident and health insurance
- Visa and related documents
If the applicant does not have the passport, he/she can use the ID card or driving license written in English. The previous camp participants for the Walailak University Cultural Camp are also welcomed to apply for the 3rd Cultural Camp program.
The committee will select the applicants from the quality of application such as the quality of video presentation and outstanding educational record. The list of successful applicants will be announced on Facebook Page Walailak University Cultural Camp – WUCC by 1st May 2019.
Founded in 1992, Walailak University is a public university located in Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Thailand. Although state-funded, Walailak University is given a high level of autonomy, unusual among Thai public universities.

Eligibilities
- An applicant must be a university student or graduate
- Applicant’s age must not be over 30 years old on the camp final date, 1stJuly 2019
- Applicants must be able to communicate well in English.
