The Idea Storm has been spearheading the drive of the E-Cell, IIT Roorkee to nurture entrepreneurship. It is the annual business model competition organized by E-Cell, IIT Roorkee in its flagship event, the E-Summit.
Every year, IIT Roorkee is a spectacle to over 300 startups showcasing their business, vision, and novelty. It creates a holistic network between the mentors, investors, and entrepreneurs, thus providing an overall stage for the development of budding startups.

Eligibilities
- There is no restriction on any individual to participate. Members of all educational and professional fraternities are welcome to participate.
- Start-ups which have been incorporated more than a year ago (i.e. registered on or before 1 December, 2017) are not eligible to participate in the Idea Storm.
- Ventures that have acquired funding from external investor-networks (angels, VC’s, etc) can not participate. We believe in promoting startups that require assistance in theform of seed capital, mentoring and various types of consultancies.
Application Process
- Each team may consist of at least three to at most five members.
- Multiple teams from the same organization are allowed to participate in the event.
- Fill out the form from the Apply Now Link for registering for Idea-Storm, E-Summit 2019, IIT Roorkee.
