The Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF) is an independent, regional, non-governmental, non-profit regional organization. The Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF) has contributed many scientists and researchers from within and outside the Arab world, as well as representatives from Arab and international scientific centers.
The Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF) invites you to submit your research proposals for four research grants in various fields of water engineering
Required field of study:
1- Performance of the unit and the impact of design variables and affecting factors
2- Operation control (Process Automation)
3- Operating costs and water treatment economics
To study an industrial unit for treatment of civil wastewater with the following specifications) Flow capacity=4 cubic meters per hour, Technology used= electrocoagulation)
And another grant on the field of:
4- Groundwater treatment (Iron removal)
Benefits
- The Foundation shall bear the costs of the project and a rewarding financial reward upon completion of the study.
- The project aims to develop the unit and scientific publishing, and so that researcher should sign the agreement of confidentiality of industrial information and mention the name of the sponsor in case of publication.
Eligibilities
- Age not less than 18 years old
- Educational or professional based experience in the research field
