Jember Dentistry Scientific Festifal (JDSFest) is an activity that runs in scientific field consisting of Scientific Writing Competition and Symposium which is the result of collaboration of Faculty Student Activity Unit Dentine and Incisivus Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Jember. In the event, LKTI consists of five branches of the contest, namely: literature review and case report of international level, national public poster and writing idea contest for high school students of Bali that is a medium to improve science in the field of Dentistry. Jember Dentistry Scientific Festifal (JDSFest) is an annual event organized by Dentistry of Universitas Jember, in 2018 JDSFest held for the seventh time.
The theme of this Symposium event in the 7th JDS-Fest (Jember Dentistry Scientific Festival) 2018 is “Infection Diseases”. The theme is taken considering the number of diseases caused due to infection both in the field of dentistry and general. It is hoped that with the theme we can all increase knowledge and skills so as to reduce the prevalence of infectious diseases and find therapies and drugs that can help suppress infectious diseases.
Let’s get started by channeling creative, innovative, and applicative ideas in this JDS Dentistry Scientific Festival (JDS) competition! This competition is open for High School Students / Equals of Java-Bali, Students of Faculty of Dentistry and Other Faculties of Health and Dentists throughout Indonesia. We are sure that you all have innovation and high creativity in improving the quality of service and care in the field of dentistry.

Eligibilities
- Participants are a group of maximum 3 persons, with members of pre-clinical student/s (D3, D4, and or S1) and clinical student/s, coming from the same health faculty within a university.
- Alternatively, a team of 3 is a collaboration of health faculties within the same university.
- Alternatively, a team of 3 is a collaboration of non-health faculty and health faculty with a minimum of 2 health faculties and three participants from the same university.
