The U.S. Mission in Dhaka is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Travel Assistant.
DUTIES: Advises Mission staff regarding official travel, USG travel regulations, and airlines, IATA and host government rules and practices. Expedites official travellers through
airport formalities, procures visas and permits and performs related travel services in accordance with ICASS service standards. Ensures accuracy of ICASS workload
count statistics.
THE WORK SCHEDULE FOR THIS POSITION: Full-time; 45 Hours/5 days per week.
START DATE: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/ certifications or their candidacy may end.

Eligibilities
- Completion of Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) required. (U.S. equivalent completion of high school.) (You must attach a copy of your school certificate along with your application form);
- One-to three years of progressively responsible experience within the US Mission, an international organization or travel-related work experience in a local airline/agent is required;
- Level III (good working knowledge) English and Bangla are required. This may be tested;
- Level II typing ability, and familiarity with computer applications such as MS Windows;
- All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.
