Call for Write-ups: “Ceteris Paribus Volume 5” 2021
Economics Study Center (ESC) is now open to write-ups for the fifth volume of our annual magazine, Ceteris Paribus! The fifth issue will be focusing on the broad theme: “Defining the Decade Ahead”. The voice of the youth will be predominant in coming up with progressive ideas to address the most pertinent issues of this decade. With the pandemic dominating most spheres of our lives, it has become more vital than ever to put our minds to mapping out how we want to shape the next ten years. Thus, ESC is calling all undergraduate students: pen your thoughts on the matter and tell us how you would define the decade ahead!
The articles can adhere, but does not have to be limited to, any of the following sub-themes:
- Unpacking our Productive Potential
- LDC Graduation and the Shift in Trade Landscape
- Climate Redemption in Post-Pandemic Era
- Future of the Global Political Economy
- Rethinking the Health Trajectory
- Reversing Poverty and Inequality
- Revolutionizing Agriculture
- Towards an Inclusive Society
Instructions:
- Word Limit is 800—2000
- Only undergraduate level students can submit articles
- The write-up can be in both Bangla and English
- Submit your article to [email protected]
- The subject line of the mail should be titled: “Submission for Ceteris Paribus”
- Email your article in Microsoft Word format
- Font type: Times New Roman(English), Shonar Bangla/Siyam Rupali (Bangla)
- Font size: 16 for section headings, 14 for sub-headings, 12 for text, 10 for footnotes
- Bold and italic are accepted
- Line spacing: 1.15
- A brief introduction, e-mail address, and contact information of the author must be included in the same word file
- The author can also send his/her picture with the article
- Co-authored submissions will not be accepted.
Economics Study Center (ESC) is the official student chapter of the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka. It represents the entire student body of the Department, and is responsible for promoting economic and business thinking, and facilitating relevant programs. It is dedicated to help the students to explore the discipline of the economics from a wider and a pluralistic perspective.
