WHO is looking for Team Assistant 2024 in Cox’s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Control the quality and quantity of goods received from suppliers, buyers and other entitles, comparing the purchase/ procurement order against the delivery note and inform the line manager of any problems (damaged or missing items etc.).
  • Monitor delivery notes if any irregularities are detected; inform the line manager accordingly when receiving goods, check the following:
  • The number of packages received matches the cargo manifest and airway bill.
  • Check cool boxes upon receipt and the cold chain temperature monitoring card.
  • Provide cargo manifest, packing list and certificate of the items received to the line manager to centralize the filing of these documents. Assign a shipping number to each package, in accordance with the instructions of the line manager.
  • Coordinating with Civil Surgeon office of Cox’s Bazar, District Hospital (Sadar Hospital) and other appropriate local health authorities
  • In conjunction with the line manager, organize and dispatch cargos, including prepare the delivery note, as well as a copy of the freight document for international and local shipments.
  • Regularly inform the line manager of the weight/volume of articles ready for distribution to the various locations (projects).
  • Update Total Stock Report on weekly basis and disseminate it to the line manager to be further provided to technical teams and other relevant personnel.
  • Conduct appropriate entry of stock, receptions, distributions, into GIMS/BMS or WMS. Fleet Management
  • Initiating proposals for necessary repairs and renovation, overseeing maintenance and security contracts in order to ensure smooth functioning of services in the office.
  • Provide transport and logistics support for all field visits and make sure that technical staff receive the required service on time.
  • Overseeing the work of drivers and the fleet of vehicles of the Cox’s Bazar office and advising appropriate officials use of vehicles as well as driver’s duties
  • Responsible for the periodical maintenance and servicing of the vehicles to be in good working condition and preparation of periodic maintenance schedule, emergency repairs
  • Maintaining and updating of inventory records of vehicles and other items and equipment in the office/stores
  • Any other duties are assigned by the WHO supervisor.

Job Requirements: 


  • Essential: Secondary, technical or commercial schoo
  • esirable: Certificate course in Warehouse and Inventory Management


  • Essential: At least five (3) years of work experience in OSL, warehouse and Inventory Management
  • Desirable: Experience in OSL and Fleet Management in UN agencies, international organizations, and
  • NGOs in emergency will be an asset. Experience in Oracle-based or other ERP systems.


  • Very good knowledge of OSL and Warehouse Management
  • Ability to maintain stock card and record Management
  • Knowledge of inventory management.

Language Skills

Essential: Expert knowledge of English. Expert knowledge of Bangla.
