Responsibilities
- Tase the tea and provide feedback for a quality tea final product
- Look at the size and colour of the leaves and find out whether they have been fermented or dried under fire
- Deals with the tea broker house as well as tea board.
- Prepare count chart summary with valuation & tasting score.
- Capturing blend mix tasting score
- Taste tea along with a taster/blender.
- Taste market complaint samples along with the Blender.
- Attending tea auctions in time-to-time basis.
- Coordinate with the Factory team for timely receiving all related samples for quality clearance.
- Follow-up and closure of Quality Complaints.
- Play the role of an advisor and provide information about the latest market trends

Additional requirement
- Graduation in Biology, Agriculture, Home Science, Food technologies, horticulture or botany is preferred
- Experience of working in a tea estate is preferred
- Should have knowledge about tea market and emerging market trends
- Decision making skills
- Attention to details
- Should know about the cultivation and manufacturing processes in a tea plantation such as tea kinds, varieties, and grades and again the characters of the resulting liquors.
