Grameenphone is looking for Corporate Communications Manager 2020 in Dhaka.
Role Overview: Ensure planned and effective Communications using all form of PR channels to build, maintain and manage engagement with prioritized external audiences and contribute in upholding Company reputation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, generate and manage PR/Communication activities to drive effective corporate engagements externally through effective storytelling.
- Propagate GP stories impact through National & Regional media by effective storytelling and media engagement.
- Provide media contact service as and when needed.
- Coordinate and connect different media stakeholder and invoke company pride through catered PR communications/ advocacy/ capacity building session.
- Contribute in generating key message, position paper, OpEd, press release and digital content.
- Generate content to support digital storytelling through corporate communication channels i.e. website, Social Media platforms etc.
- Support in modernizing media monitoring, hearing tool and digital PR channel project.
- Advice and ensure appropriate tenor and depth of information during content development for portal/ other available platforms.
- Play a pivotal role in generating weekly report, in-depth analysis and support Head of Comms/Head of EC in formulating sprint-based strategy.
- Build capacity to support project-based service delivery – PR, PO, Budget Forecasting, Planning, Partner Management etc.
- Evaluate user/ agency recommendations for stakeholder engagements and identify best option(s) for implementation.
- Liaise with cross functional stakeholders, functions to facilitate internal campaigns and events; as applicable.
- Support Telenor Asia Team in driving synergy projects.

Eligibilities
- BBA/MBA with a concentration in Marketing or Masters in Business discipline/ Public Relations/ Mass Communications from a reputed university
- A digital native and creative explorer
- Digital PR skills
- Digital storytelling capabilities
- Deep understanding in Bangladeshi media landscape
- Excellent in Communications skills
- Ability to deliver work under extreme pressure, deadlines and crisis management
- Diligent & strongly committed towards assigned responsibilities
