CARE is looking for Business Development Officer 2022 in Cox’s Bazar.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Develop an enabling environment for entrepreneurship and business development for population identified as the most vulnerable in targeted communities
- Implementation of market linkage initiatives through collective actions and life-skills development
- Support in behavioral change initiative through campaigns and promotion of better business practices
- Information collection, preservation, Monitoring, reporting and other ad-hoc tasks
- Adhere to and support CARE Bangladesh’s Safety and Security policy and systems

Eligibilities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters in Agriculture/Fisheries/Livestock
- Minimum 3 to 4 years professional experience in the relevant field.
- Prior experience of working in Livelihood, value chain and market system development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should have good understanding of MS Office applications.
Core Competencies:
- Facilitation skills, knowledge on livelihood program implementation.
- Knowledge of multicultural intervention and ability to deal with GO, NGO, Private sector
- Experience on Participating Learning Action and Community Led development approach
- Good understanding about Cox’s Bazar host community, its dynamics, power structure and development issues.
