BRAC is looking for Manager, Road Safety and Driving School, Road Safety 2021 in Dhaka
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Manage Road Safety Projects activities.
- Manage BRAC Driving School’s activities.
- Monitoring and evaluation of Road Safety training i.e. pre, during and post and preparation report.
- Prepare and control the budget of Road Safety projects and Driving School.
- Control and monitoring the expenditure of Road Safety projects and Driving School
- Support for developing IEC materials for different Road Safety projects and driving school.
- Ensure quality TNA, support for preparation of training modules of different Road Safety projects.
- Organize and conduction of RS training for staff and stakeholders of different Road Safety projects..
- Maintain effective relations with all BRAC programs, departments and Government Offices concerned with Road Safety.
- Prepare MIS and reports of Road Safety projects and driving School.
- Introduce new courses and increase participants in BRAC Driving School.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programmer’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
- Other necessary tasks assigned by the authority.

Eligibilities
Educational Requirements:
- Masters/ MBA/BSc Engineering Social Science/Business Administration/Science from any recognized approved university with minimum all 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA.2.5. Third division/class or CGPA below 2.5 is not acceptable.
Experience Requirement:
- Having at least 3 – 5 years’ experience in road safety programme including training.
Additional Requirements:
- Help to organize national/regional events/workshop/seminar.
- Concept on road safety
- Participatory management
- Policy making and capacity building
- Facilitation (all-level meeting, workshop as well as training sessions)
- Presentation and communication
- Negotiation and convincing
- Project implementation
- Working effectively with Development Partner/partner Programs/NGOs/CBOs
- Carry out TNA and develop training module
- Development of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials
